What it is
WOCA Exterior Wood Primer is a water-based, penetrating primer developed as a base coat for untreated softwoods. It improves the performance of the subsequent oil finish, extends recoat intervals, and offers added biological protection against fungal growth on exposed timber.
Used in combination with WOCA Exterior Wood Oil, it provides a complete coating system for softwood cladding, decking and exterior detail on species that benefit from priming.

Use it on untreated softwoods — particularly pine — and on previously unimpregnated timber. It is not required on treated, impregnated or naturally durable species like cedar, larch or Accoya.
Yes. The primer is a base coat designed to be finished with WOCA Exterior Wood Oil.
No. The primer is designed to be neutral and does not influence the final colour of the topcoat oil.
